Microlearning is the open, broad layer of the ISCN program — the place for clinicians and researchers to share a single, focused idea with the field. Whether you're presenting new data, a clinical technique, or a fresh synthesis, if it advances our understanding of the integrated brain and stands on evidence, we want to hear it.
Unlike the symposia, microlearning talks don't have to fit a “Brain × ___” intersection. Any topic within clinical and integrated neuroscience is welcome, as long as it's grounded in evidence. Bring your best idea.
A microlearning talk is a live presentation, so we evaluate the speaker as well as the science. Have these ready before you start — submission takes about 15 minutes.
We welcome new science and well-made clinical teaching — but not anecdote or product promotion without an evidence basis. Every accepted talk can answer one question: what is this built on?

Microlearning runs in two parallel paths. Accepted speakers are assigned a path and time — be prepared to present in either.
Talks run across the congress. Please hold all conference dates; your specific time is assigned after acceptance.
Sessions may be recorded for the On-Demand library. Submitting means you're comfortable being filmed.

Autonomic dysregulation is increasingly recognized in persistent post-concussion symptoms, yet it's rarely targeted directly in the clinic. This talk makes the case for adding heart-rate variability (HRV) biofeedback to standard vestibular rehabilitation. Drawing on recent interventional data and the autonomic literature, we'll walk through why the vagal system matters in concussion recovery, what a simple 6-week biofeedback protocol looks like in practice, and the early outcomes clinicians can expect. Attendees will leave with a concrete, evidence-grounded technique they can begin applying immediately — and a clear sense of where the evidence is still developing.
